A Day of Rest - Senior Collection

A Day of Rest is a collection of looks that go through a full day of outfits for different occasions a woman might attend in a day. The collection contains a sleepwear, casual, professional, formal, and intimates look, all made out of thrifted bedsheets. The inspiration for this collection is the unequal division of unpaid labor that puts a very large burden on women that reduces their ability to have time for themselves and rest. Sustainability is incredibly important to me, which is why I chose to make the garments out of thrifted material and make them size-adjustable. This will allow them to change and grow with the wearer.
